About the Canadian Parking Foundation

Founded in 1996 by the Canadian Parking Association, the Canadian Parking Foundation (CPF) is a charitable, not for profit organization with a mandate to promote and recognize research and knowledge in public parking, transportation and land use at the public policy level.

Armed with the above mandate our vision, objectives and mission are as follows:

Vision

To be recognized as the forum that stimulates and facilitates knowledge in the parking and transportation industry.

Objective

To create a body of knowledge through progressive research and education, to support leadership by continuing to raise funds in support of special projects and to encourage and acknowledge creativity and innovation.

Mission

To develop, recognize and promote standards for parking as a function of transportation through education, research and dialogue.
The foundation works with the Canadian Parking Association awarding scholarships annually with each scholarship being funded by the C.P.A. These scholarships are available to members of the Canadian Parking Association in Canada

In addition the Foundation board selects two other Canadian Parking Association annual award winners.

The Ted Seaburg and Ed Keate awards respectively recognize outstanding contributions to the Canadian Parking Industry and outstanding contributions through the advancement of knowledge.
